A refined visual identity and e-commerce upgrade for a boutique perfume house
Overview
Noir Essence needed a digital presence that matched the craftsmanship and sensory depth of their fragrances. Their previous website presented the collection, but it didn’t communicate the emotional layers, artisanal production, or the storytelling that defines niche perfumery.
We reimagined the brand’s digital expression—elevating typography, visual tone, and product narratives. The experience was redesigned around discovery pathways: guiding users by scent families, mood, and composition notes. Rich product pages introduced storytelling moments, ingredient highlights, and rituals of use, while a modular system ensured consistency across seasonal releases and limited editions.
Results
The new identity and e-commerce experience strengthened the brand's luxury positioning and improved how customers interacted with the collection. Shoppers spent more time exploring scent stories, used filtering more frequently, and added products to the cart earlier in the journey.
Conversion on mobile increased notably, supported by faster navigation and clearer product hierarchy. Post-launch, Noir Essence saw growth in international orders and stronger customer engagement with new fragrance drops.
